Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information OnlineTrainingConsultancy collects through this website, why, how long it is kept and your rights. Last updated: 13 October 2026.

Who is responsible

OnlineTrainingConsultancy (registered business name in Ireland, No. 678129) is responsible for personal information submitted through this website.

Information collected through the contact form

When you send an enquiry, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your organisation
  • Your email address
  • Your enquiry or message

This information is used only to respond to your enquiry and to manage potential or ongoing consultancy enquiries. It is not used for mailing lists, advertising or marketing emails.

Where you contact me about potentially engaging my services, I may process your information where necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. I may also process information where necessary for my legitimate interests in responding to and managing genuine business enquiries, provided those interests do not override your data protection rights.

Spam protection

To limit repeated or automated submissions, the contact form creates a scrambled value (a hash) derived from your IP address and stores it with your enquiry. The original IP address itself is not stored by the contact form system. Because the number of possible IP addresses is limited, this value could in principle be matched back to an IP address, so it is treated as personal information and is kept and deleted together with your enquiry.

How long information is kept

Contact enquiries, together with their associated spam-protection hash, are kept for 24 months and then automatically deleted. Information may be kept separately for longer where needed for an ongoing business relationship or where there is a legal obligation to retain relevant records.

A copy of each enquiry is also sent to the business email account, where it is subject to normal email management and retention.

Website hosting

This website is hosted using Lovable. To operate, secure and measure the website, the hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and request information, and server log information. Lovable acts as a service provider for this purpose; see Lovable's own privacy policy for details of its processing.

Lovable provides basic aggregated website statistics, such as visits, page views, pages per visit, average visit duration and bounce rate. We do not use these to track or profile individual visitors.

Analytics, cookies and third parties

With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use the website — for example, which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive at the site, and general device, browser and approximate location information. This helps improve the website's content. Google Analytics is not loaded, and its cookies are not set, unless you click Accept in the cookie notice.

Google Analytics sets the following cookies only after you accept:

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors; expires 2 years after your most recent visit
  • _ga_<ID> — maintains session state; expires 2 years after your most recent visit

The legal basis for this analytics processing is your consent. Advertising features, Google Signals and ad personalisation are not used. Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards; see Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) for details.

Your choice is stored in your browser so the notice does not reappear on every page; you are asked again after six months. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie settings button below. If you withdraw consent, future analytics tracking stops and the Google Analytics cookies are removed from this website. Withdrawing consent does not automatically delete data that Google has already processed; Google Analytics data is retained in line with the property's data retention settings.

No advertising pixels or social media trackers have been added to this website. The website's fonts are hosted on the website itself, so your browser does not contact Google to load them.

The private administrator area uses browser storage for sign-in sessions; this is strictly necessary for authentication and applies only to authorised administrators, not ordinary visitors.

Your rights

Under data protection law (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information held about you
  • Have inaccurate information corrected
  • Have your information deleted
  • Restrict how your information is used
  • Object to its use, where applicable
  • Data portability, where applicable
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal

You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie).
